Creative campaign for Arkansas Children’s Health earns another top-tier distinction at the 2021 Aster Awards
In June 2021, Core Health received a Gold Aster Award in the category of “Total Advertising Campaign” for its “Stay Close” winter awareness campaign for Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The campaign was an updated extension of the “Let them Play” campaign, which earned the agency two Aster awards in 2020, including a Judge’s Choice distinction. The new Gold award for its most recent iteration puts it in the top 5% of Aster Award winners for 2021.
Launched in 2020, the refreshed “Stay Close” campaign for Arkansas Children’s Hospital continued to build awareness for the system’s Jonesboro clinic. Like the original campaign, launched in 2019, Core Health designed the campaign to increase appointment requests and brand affinity amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, while building a magical connection between Arkansas Children's and families in the area.

The children’s hospital campaign builds a vital emotional connection by giving its audience – in this case, millennial moms – a solution to give their children better lives by getting care at a clinic closer to home; so they get more time to enjoy being a kid and less time traveling to out-of-state health systems. Updated creative for the Winter 2020 iteration included new print ads, digital display and outdoor billboards, which helped breathe new life into the campaign throughout the holiday season.
The Aster Awards is one of the largest and most respected competitions of its kind, recognizing outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising & marketing efforts for over 20 years. The 2021 Aster Awards received entries from across the entire United States as well as abroad. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal and execution.
